The blue color held a tint of emerald to it, the black ring around it widening as the seventeen-year-old leaped atop a large rock, pausing shortly before hopping down. She was lithe in her actions, and the hybrid was very proud of that fact. Perhaps not as agile and graceful as a full-fledged vampire, but she retained some error of the human species, and for Ariana, that made her heart swell. It was a reminder that her mother's blood - even though she had drank from it the moment she was born - still flowed through her veins - it was the same blood that her mother had. Fixing her copper hair, blonde highlights gleaming under the early morning sun, Ariana pulled it back in a loose braid, allowing the wind to blow the tendrils left into her line of vision. It was a peaceful dawn, Ariana realized, and the scent of vampire was lazy at the hour. No blood-sucking creature had been out here for quite some time, and Ariana took that as a sign to enjoy herself. She knew she shouldn't be quite this close to Volterra where the Volturi resided, but Kevin had warned her that Greece was being hoarded by a small coven of three newborn vampires who had managed to get past their blood lust stage. They were easily two or so years old, and the fact that they had tamed themselves was very impressive, but Ariana had to run. No one could know of her existance. She couldn't run anywhere but towards Italy, and she had only stopped for a quick bite to eat. Even though she couldn't go near Volterra, it had not stopped her from approaching the food vendors outside the city. Thinking of the food she had to eat, Ariana let out a gag of disgust. She hated human food, a quality Joham had been quick to develop. It's not that she didn't want to eat like a human - it's just that it so wasn't worth it. Animal blood was much more satisfying. n o t e s : l o l. w h u t ? t a g g e d : o p e n |
