ENERGY MANIPULATION
- Has the ability to draw power from large or small but abundant sources of energy, such as turning kinetic energy into physical blasts or converting solar energy into other forms. Sometimes based on proximity to source, sometimes stored for future use. Has the ability to produce a glowing ball of pure energy to be used for light, physical attack, or bestowing energy to others (i.e. giving them more strength; powering their special abilities; or providing power to technological objects). Has ability to both give strength and take away strength as she drains/bestows energy to a being. Powers work best with hybrids much like herself; has trouble taming strong, carnivorous vampires; humans may become unconscious under use of her power. Inability to clearly focus causes her to not be able to use power correctly. Unless has a clear mind, power is useless.

PHYSICAL
Aria has a long mane of copper hair that she inherited from her father, believe it or not. It falls in ringlets, like her mother’s had been – the exact same style. It is littered with golden strands that her mother had in her ebony hair. It remains in ringlets in the spring, summer, and fall, but in winter, the frigidness turns her hair straight. Aria has bangs to about her chin. Ariana has deep aquamarine eyes that gleam under the sunlight even on a dim day; she got them from her mother. They can be as blue as the ocean on some days, but on others, they can be a deep emerald that match the forest. They will change depending on the lighting and Aria’s mood. She has violet when she is happy; sterling blue when she is confronted or angry; a deep emerald when determined; and a zealous blue when in love. Ariana has the alluring nature that all her kind has, a mix of the vampire beauty and the natural human flaws as well as reality of beauty. She has pale, translucent skin from her father, Joham, but the warm, flush of red tint to her cheeks from the blood flowing through her body thanks to her birth mother, Nicolette. In the sunlight, her skin has a luminous glow to it, but to her satisfaction, all humans think that she is just more mysterious than anything. Aria has an hourglass figure with a muscular build. She has such high cheek bones and more of a manly figure up in the shoulder area. One of her many flaws, of course, but most have to do with her personality.
PERSONALITY
Most people don't know this, but Aria takes love seriously. Love is nothing to mess with. It binds you to your forever, you cannot mess that up. You only get a limited amount of chances. You know you have found true love when the saying, "love can touch us once and last a lifetime" comes true. When you know the person is worth all the long nights dreaming of forever. She is very cautious when it comes to love. Joham had raised her to be very passive – thinking that she was the most supreme to human kind. But when she reached the human age of five, she wondered off on her own. For a decade, the girl watched humans interact – and finding that the love her mother had for her in the womb was the true way to act. To this day, though, Aria is afraid to love. She remains passive and cold-hearted to a certain extent. She does care for some, but she finds that too much kindness could kill a person.
Music is Aria’s major devotion. She just loves to sing and play many instruments. She can play the guitar, piano, and drums. To her, music is a lifeline-she can't live without it. It speaks for what can't be expressed. It's what feelings sound like. E.Y. Harburg said: Words make you think a thought. Music makes you feel a feeling. A song makes you feel a thought.
Ariana is remorseless to a certain extent. After being raised by Joham for the first years of her life, she was taught that she was a Goddess and that animals were human. Much like her brother, Nahuel, she escaped from Joham's shadows and began to observe the way humans lived. She now pities killing her mother when she was first born and knows true love. She tries to redeem herself by granting mercy to those who wrong purposely - but she can hold a grudge with the best of them.
Aria is a writer. Writing is just something she cannot live without. Sometimes, she gets so caught up in her writing that she loses herself in reality. You know you are an author when you find yourself doing stupid things like not being aware of your surroundings.
Aria can talk about her passions for hours and listen to others for just as long.
She loves challenges, if someone gives her a challenge she is always the first one to come out victorious and never give up. She is very determined too. A curse & strength, she can never quit. Many friends call her stubborn. They also call her a risk-taker. They say she sometimes is too competitive. She is the one who would run towards the thing that just tried to kill her. Aria looks small and innocent, but people judge her too quickly. She is very strong (literally). After you get to know her, you'd think she would most likely be the hired assassin in two years. She likes to take chances, a little danger never hurt anyone. Of course, sometimes it does.
Aria is shy, self-conscious, and quiet when you first meet her. But if you KNOW her, Aria tends to be talkative, random, and outgoing. She is basically the type of girl who can be self-conscious around those she is not comfortable with, but when you truly get to know her and have been able to earn her trust, she becomes the total opposite of how she seems. She transforms into this courageous and confident teenager who does not let a little danger hurt her.
Aria is not a big skeptic; she does disbelieve some things that don't have evidence to support them. But she keeps her mind, eyes, and heart wide open.
Fate and destiny have a lot to do with her. Things have to happen to us for a reason. She lives life with no regrets & value every second. We were given this life only because we're strong enough to live it. She believes in second chances. You got to have faith; She firmly believes that faith can mend all wounds & without it nothing is possible.
She trusts too easily - and that gets her in trouble.
Ariana makes mistakes over & over; she is not perfect and doesn’t live to be. She has the bad sides and falls down a lot. But you know what they say, the harder you fall, you find out just how strong you are.
Her greatest fears are falling in love; not being able to pass as a human; Aro and the Volturi killing her and/or capturing her and taking away her freedom; drinking human blood. She never claimed to be flawless because, Ariana is veyr much a push-over; too trusting; loves danger; reserved; kindness; temper; sarcastic, but, at the same time, the teenager is passionate; loyal; determination; confidence; musical; creative; analytical.
Aria is a writer; musician; believer; dancer; and a strong person. She knows what its like to be in the background, and she ain't ever going back.
HISTORY
It was a personal history, Aria thought; it was a damned personal history that she would never share. She was born just before a Midsummer's Day on August ninth of 1993. She had prior knowledge of her mother, Nicolette, being in love with her father, Joham; feeling abandoned when he left her; her fear but happiness when she heard she was pregnant; her worries when the baby grew too strong and she grew too weak; and her being in pain during the labor. And though Aria's mental captives were well developed, when her mother went into labor with Ariana after a month and a half of pregnancy, Ariana knew of no way to save her dear mother. Ariana was merely a nameless half-human, half-vampire (she was already well aware of that fact) that needed to survive. So, that fact alone made Ariana regret it for the rest of her life: she was the reason Nicolette was dead. The lights flickered all the while, and the dying girl just watched it, mesmerized by the energy flowing through the house. At once, her heart gave a lurch, as if it was being electrocuted. She never knew anything after so - her daughter crawled over and they stared at one another before Ariana fed.
When she entered the living room in the house in the heart of Crescent, California, Nicolette gazed at her newborn daughter with the same deep, aquamarine eyes that Ariana had inherited. She whispered seven words that Ariana kept with her even after all this time: "You are my dear Ariana Mackenzie Mae." She died straight after, the pain too much, and the fact that Ariana had been barely aware, only hearing her mother's last words, had bitten her mother and drained her of blood that kept her alive for three days. Ariana had been strained with hunger, her survival instinct far too great. For three days in the humid house with her decaying corpse of a mother, Ariana strove to keep herself alive. Until Joham came for her. He, at the time, had come back to seduce Nicolette, trying to impregnate her, Ariana later learned. That pissed her to no hell's end that he had been joyous to learn that her mother, her own flesh and blood had died giving birth to a "hybrid". The word always sounded foreign to the girl, but she learned that, in truth, it was exactly what she was.
He took his daughter to the heart of South America, in the jungle where a small hut outside of the capital of Paraguay existed. She lived there until she was five in vampire and human years, looking like an old twelve-year-old or passing as a young thirteen-year-old. By then, Ariana had superior knowledge over her special ability known as energy manipulation - she was able to give, absorb, generate, as well as control any form of energy. Her father wondered where such an ability had come from - and Ariana recalled the moment before her birth when the power went out. Was it possible that she had received this ability due to the turn of events? Or was it because her mother was an electrician.
Joham, greedy as ever, tried to mold Ariana into a weapon of mass-destruction. Join her sisters in "warring" as his "warriors and experiments". Ariana had always been eager to learn, always one-step ahead of the game. And so, with the utmost anxiousness, Ariana allowed Joham to train her in the art of combat. Both knew little about Ariana’s power, but to Joham’s surprise, his daughter dived head first into a library, checking out book after book on energies. The two discovered that she was able to control almost any form of the category – from heat and solar energy, to kinetic and potential – even thermal.
By six years of age, Ariana took it upon herself to live amongst humans. Joham was against this idea – having raised his daughter by the teachings of her as a Goddess and them as animals. The remorseless, stone-cold heart was still beating with warm blood, much to Joham’s dismay, and Ariana was somewhat eager to find out what the world was like. All her life, Joham had isolated her from reality. Forming a warrior out of scratch, but try as he might, Ariana had inherited Nicolette’s determination and stubborn aurora - both a strength and a curse at times. And much to Joham's dislike, Ariana was going out to the world. He once argued that she would control her thirst – but to this she replied that she had only ever once touched human blood. Living in the forest for her life of six years had only allowed Ariana to feed on animals. Joham was cautious about letting his daughter out of his sight – thus, never taking her outside of the living corners to hunt for humans. The only human blood she had ever touched was her mother's- the only person, which Ariana eventually learned, who would ever truly love her.
So with her bags packed, Ariana set out for northern Idaho in North America where she had heard rumors of vampires settling in the mix with humans. Though not without a fight, Joham tried as he might to prevent his daughter from leaving – but Ariana would have no such thing. The last she saw of her father was his shocked face as she ambushed him from behind, running away from her home. For the next two years, Ariana observed humans and vampires alike, gaining knowledge and perfecting her human identity and vampire skills. Her power was nearly mastered at the time of seven years of age in which she looked like an old fifteen-year-old. She knew that she was supposed to reach full growth at this age, but Ariana noted that her ability might cause her delay, but it was never apparent. The now-aged and mature girl was stuck with a stubborn attitude that was never flawless. She still, to that day, had never mixed with human blood – and here, she learned of the true bonds of love. The same that her mother had held with her – even after Ariana had killed her.
At seven, Ariana stumbled into the European country of France, and came across a vampire of two hundred years by the name of Danielle de Raven, who preferred, as Ariana, learned to be called Danni. Her mate was a German prince of five hundred years by the name of Kevin Montessori. The two were welcoming, taking in the distressed girl and keeping her identity a secret. Ariana was enrolled to a high school – going from a sophomore to senior, often excelling in her many, many classes. She lived a normal childhood as she could – even taking up athletic activities with caution of course. At eleven years of age, and now fully grown for about a year now, Ariana looked like a old seventeen-year-old, eighteen quite well, and a young nineteen-year-old. She could play any part she wanted in this point.
When Ariana turned twelve, she feigned some papers to make her the legal age of eighteen and hitchhiked around France and Germany, settling in places all around and continually entering high school again, again, and again. Occasionally, Ariana even met up with Danni and Kevin a few times. They offered her their home, a life she had always wanted. Comfort. A family. But Ariana declined the offer, noting that she wanted to find her sisters that she knew of and a brother that she did not even know the name of. She was hidden, that was her greatest fear. Later in the years, though, Aria would return to them where she would be adopted as their daughter.
When Ariana was fifteen, the hybrid traveled to her hometown, her birth place, where her mother was buried. Here, she came into contact with her grandmother, Adrienne Mae. The seventy-three-year-old widow glanced at Aria with the same blue eyes and started screaming. Here, in front of her, was the near exact replica of her dead daughter. People had said young Nicolette had been murdered. But Adrienne knew that something killed her daughter because of supernatural events. The fact that Nicolette had become pregnant and birthed a child in a span of two months proved this to be true. Though Ariana was cautious of her grandmother, the two eventually became close, and through her, Aria learned just how her mother was. Forever now, Aria was a copy of her mother. Sadly though, a week after Aria left her grandmother, Andrienne passed away. Aria attended her funeral before leaving, but not before raiding her grandmother's home for mementos of the life she could have had if her mother had survived. She exited the place with a heavy heart, knowing she had lost the last connection to her mother.
By seventeen, Ariana had traveled to all of North and South America, even swimming to Australia once. She was an adventurer, but sheltered. The girl knew of the Volturi quite well, and she stayed in the shadows because she knew she would be captured if ever discovered by Aro. Losing her freedom, that was, in truth, her greatest fear.
However, as time passed, she decided that she wanted to go after the Volturi. She wanted revenge for being hidden all her life.
For Joham’s fear of the Volturi taking her. For her own fear of losing her freedom. And she would do anything, help anyone, and say anything just to do so.
Even if it cost her life.
(For now, she waits, going nomad for the time being.)
