{ MAEVE CATRIONA RIORDAN }

NAME ;; Maeve Catriona Riordan
AGE ;; 19//17
SPECIES ;; Carnivore Vampire//Newborn
GENDER ;; Female
SEXUALITY ;; Heterosexual
SPECIAL ABILITY ;; Enhanced Memory
Maeve can remember every detail of her past, human and vampire, both the good and the bad memories, with perfect clarity. Her power probably originates from her excellent memory as a human. Maeve has yet to find out that her super sharp memory of her past is an actual power. (I will rp this out soon)
HAIR DESCRIPTION ;; Maeve's hair is wavy and falls down past her shoulder blades, and is two to three inches above her waist. It is a pretty brown color. It is usually hanging down loose or put into a ponytail.
EYE DESCRIPTION ;; As a human, Maeve's eyes were a dark blue color. Nowadays they are a bright crimson.
BODY DESCRIPTION ;; Maeve is petite and small in size, only standing at 5 ft, 3 inches. Her skin is a deathly pale color. Her eyebrows are a little bushier than most people Maeve knows, like her father's eyebrows, though as a vampire they are less noticeable than when she was a human. Thanks to braces, Maeve's teeth are pretty even and reasonably well cared for. Though Maeve does wear mascara and some lip gloss, and focuses a lot of time on her hair, she is usually seen wearing sweats, jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, whatever is comfy and in her closet.
PLAY BY ;; Leighton Meester
FULL PERSONALITY ;;
Maeve is a down-to-earth type of person. She's not one of those girly-girls who spend most of their time gossiping or worrying about their apperances. In fact, you can usually find Maeve doing something involving photography, which is one of Maeve's favorite things to do in life. She's not full of herself, or thinks she's a loser either. She considers herself in between, and she's fine with that. She sees things for what they are, and is an honest person. Sometimes she's a bit too honest, but in some ways her honesty helps her find her true friends and enemies, which is a good thing. Over all, though, Maeve is a nice, sweet girl who will do anything for her family and friends. She misses the people she loved from her previous life a lot, especially Sloan, though Maeve desperately hopes he's still "alive" and a vampire, too. She even loves her creator, Bianca, too, usually. They got along well until recently, when Maeve became less bloodthirsty and began to hope that Sloan was a vampire.
Maeve really loves photography. She still has her camera with her, and she still takes pictures with it. In her free time, which is a huge chunk of her time, Maeve has begun to perfect her photography skills, which was encouraged by Bianca. In recent months, Maeve has begun to gain control over her thirst, probably due to her maturity as a human and now as a vampire. Her control is far from being completely perfect, especially when she is thirsty, but it's better than most newborns. Bianca is relieved by this, especially with the rumors about the Volturi's new hit coven, the Matsue Coven. So far it's only just rumors, but Bianca says it's better to be safe than sorry. Maeve also has began to have an interest in painting, archery, reading, and writing. She plans on learning a few languages in the future, just for the fun of it. Maeve doesn't like the solitude of being a vampire, though, and she doesn't like the Volturi for being so strict and cruel.
Her biggest secret is her power. A part of her wants to tell Bianca about it, but another part of her doesn't. Her past is one of those precious little things Maeve wants to keep to herself. She still has a slight fear of heights, even as a vampire, because old fears die hard, right? She also fears the Volturi as well as hating them, because of what they could possibly due to Maeve and her loved ones. There are a few habits Maeve still has even as a vampire, since old habits die hard. When nervous, Maeve always bits down on her lip or looks down at her hands. When she's impatient, she twiddles her thumbs or taps her foot lightly. As for eating habits, Maeve is a carnivorous vampire, meaning she drinks human blood. As for what type of humans Maeve preys on, it is usually middle-aged men, since they are easy to attract, and Maeve feels too guilty about drinking the blood of teenagers or women.

HISTORY ;;
"You want to know about my history? Well, your in luck. Somehow I can remember my past really clearly. I don't know why... maybe I'll tell Bianca soon. Maybe. I'm still @#!*% off at her because of a conversation we had a few days ago... Anyway, my history. Well, anyway, I was born on May 4th, 1993, to Sean and Brigit Riordan. As you can tell by my last name, I was born in Ireland. In fact, I used to live right in the capital of Ireland, Dublin. I have an older brother, Darcy, and two younger twin sisters, Fiona and Caitlin. Cait and Fiona are identical, which was cool. I used to be really close with my family. Before I was turned. My family wasn't filthy rich, yet they weren't starving poor either. We lived all right, actually, though me nor my siblings could go to all the fancy camps that our friends could go to. We managed to go to a good, expensive private school, all four of us, to get a good education, and a decent house. And that's what really mattered to most of us. Alright, sure Fiona would complain more than once about it sometimes, but overall our family was pretty happy.
I never really liked school, honestly. Well, I liked the educational part. The things we learned in school were very interesting. I just didn't like the social part of school. I was considered a nerd, a prettier nerd at least, for most of my school years. It didn't help that I had to get braces and glasses when I was ten. For a little more than two years, I was considered a nerd. A real nerd. Not even a pretty nerd. I really, really hated those days. My siblings were my only friends, and even then I didn't see them much, as they had their own friends. Those two miserable years ended when I was twelve, just before I went into junior secondary school. My braces were finally off, and after a lot of arguments, persuasion and begging, my parents got me contacts. I ended up joining the school newspaper as one of the photographers, since I love photography. My social status went up higher, and the social aspect of school wasn't so bad. And then I met Sloan Collins.
I met Sloan when I was helping my friend and a writer for the school paper, Kaylee, with an article for the school paper. We were to interview members of the football team (not American football, what Americans call soccer), since they were going to be in the league finals in a few days after the interview. The article would be in the paper, which would come out on the day of the match. I took my photos, and then Kaylee went on to interviewing the football players. While Kaylee was interviewing everybody, I started to talk to Sloan. He was actually pretty nice, for a jock and a popular kid. A handful of the jocks have big egos or try to act macho, and most of the popular kids (male or female) acted superior to other people. But Sloan was... normal. And I had a pretty good time talking to him. I was actually disappointed when Kaylee finished interviewing everybody. Then, afterwards, we both made excuses to see each other. I always took photos for any articles involving the sport teams, since Sloan was on most of them, instead of sharing with the other photographers. Sloan seemed to always pop up a few times a week in the newsroom, delivering things that the school newspaper people needed. We were in the same Biology class, and we managed to pair up on most partner things. Then, eventually, after lots of run-ins and conversations with each other, Sloan finally asked me out when we were fifteen, and in our last year of junior secondary school. And, of course, I said yes.
After a great first date, me and Sloan kept on seeing each other, and after a few more dates we were 'official', you could say. We dated each other for the rest of our last year in junior secondary school and most of the time of senior secondary school. If there's anybody now who I would say I'm in love with, it was Sloan. We went through so much together... dates, parties, rough spots of a relationship, and the benefits of a relationship. And then there was Sloan himself. I'll always love that happy, kind boy that was my boyfriend. He even gave me a promise ring... it's the only thing I own beside some clothes and a shoulder bag right now. But then Halloween came. I don't know what happened. Nobody does. But somehow, Sloan, his father and his sister managed to disappear into thin air. Nobody could figure it out. Lately, I've came up with a theory, but I'll get to that soon.
So, with Sloan most likely dead, I couldn't help but be devastated. I really loved Sloan, and I still do. I became something like a robot with one of its pieces missing. I could find a way to work around it, but I'd never work as perfectly as before. I missed Sloan with every single cell in my body, but somehow I managed to keep on living. I spent a lot of time doing photography, and that was probably what saved me from that becoming an empty shell. My family helped too, but somehow photography was the key factor of my survival. I managed to graduate from senior secondary school, and I was going to go to college to study photography. After that... maybe I would take photos for a magazine or something. Or take photos and sell them in my own store. I didn't know exactly what to do after I graduated college. I wanted to focus on one thing at a time and do my best at it. But then one day, in the spring before I went to college, I met Bianca. It was a nice summer day in the woods, and I was taking pictures of the wild life. Then, one day, Bianca appeared from what seemed to be thin air. We had a short conversation, on my photography and being lonely. Then Bianca bit me.
After three days of pure agony, I awoke to find myself in a place far from where me and Bianca had been last. Bianca told me all the basics of being a vampire, and then I began to hunt. One of the things Bianca told me about vampires is that they can't remember their past, except if they put a lot of effort into remembering. But for some reason that wasn't the case with me. From the start I could remember my past with ease. It took no effort whatsoever. I could remember my family, my friends... and Sloan Collins. Out of all the people I missed from my previous life, Sloan was the one I missed the most. Even though technically he's dead. But now I don't think so. I mean, people think I'm dead, right? Since humans can't know about the Supernatural or vampires. So maybe it's the same situatian for Sloan. Maybe he's a vampire too!
When I told this to Bianca, she snapped at me that it wasn't true and that if Sloan was a vampire, I couldn't go looking for him until I had my thirst under control. Lately, I have been a lot better about my thirst. It has been two years since I've been changed. So you'd think Bianca would let me go try and find Sloan, right? Not the case. We had a conversation, though argument is more like it, a few days ago about it... but my determination hasn't faded. Currently me and Bianca are roaming around the United States right now. But at the next possible chance, I'm going to give Bianca the slip, go to Ireland, and then look for Sloan. Bianca's sticking to me like gum on my shoe at the moment, but when there's a will there's a way, right?"
YOUR NAME & AGE ;; Quinny
HOW DID YOU FIND US? ;; Ahem? I've been here foreverrrr
SAMPLE POST ;;
The Volturi Ball. Quinn had went there, just to escape the loneliness that Quinn had gotten after Jeremy's death. Quinn did have fun for a little bit. She chatted with countless amounts of people, getting updated on the latest gossip on the Supernatural. She had also met Corin, a nice vampire who was also with Quinn on the bacony next to the ball room. And before Quinn had met Corin, she remembered feeling Jeremy's warm arms around her shoulders, keeping her warm in the cool night. The part about Jeremy's arms made Lily both feel happy and sad at the same time. Was it possible to feel both emotions? Quinn definitely felt both emotions. Jeremy was a bittersweet memory, a memory Quinn hadn't gotten over yet. However, the memory of Jeremy hadn't stopped Quinn from running away from the Volturi Ball when she did. She believed none of the words Aro said about how there was no "problem" behind the scenes. The lack of Volturi Guard members, and the missing of a golden eyed vampire Quinn had seen in the Ball, made her suspicious. Worried that the Ball was going to end in disaster, Quinn had left Volterra in ten minutes and spent the night swimming across the Atlantic.
Now Quinn was here, two days later, near her destination of Forks. In fact, Quinn was in between Forks and La Push. According to a nearby sign, Quinn was exactly in Smithsonian Park. The trees and grass were green, here in the Park. Flower beds were scattered amongst the Park, usually right next to the red brick walkway that went through the park in a zig zag-like patterin. The Smithonian Park was a very pretty place to be in, especially after you swam across the Atlantic. Quinn had been dried off by now, thanks to the Sun, but she still smelled like fish and salt water. It wasn't the most beautiful thing to smell like, definitely. People around her were wrinkling their noses when Quinn's new perfume hit their noses. Quinn barely managed to conceal the grin that was trying to form on her face. The way people wrinkled their noses always seemed rather humorous to Quinn, for some reason. She was just one oddball vampire hybrid, that was for sure.
Suddenly, a new scent entered Quinn's nose. It smelled an awful lot like a dog. The scent was on the borderline between nice and disgusting, being more neutral than anything else. It shouldn't have really affected Quinn that much. Yet something about the scent attracted Quinn to its owner. Like this scent was different from the others. Quinn didn't understand why. Maybe it was because of the fact that it was a new species, yet Quinn didn't think that was it. There seemed to be something more than just the scent belonging to an unintroduced species. Not sure what exactly to do about this new development, Quinn decided to follow her instincts and follow the scent until she found the origin. What else was she going to do, anyway? Her visit to the Cullens could wait, since she was now so close to her final destination.
