HAIR DESCRIPTION ;; Vidette's hair had taken many years as a human to grow out, and as it is, it flows to her mid-back. It is dark brunette in color, curly, and thick to run one's fingers through.
EYE DESCRIPTION ;; As a human, Vidette's eyes had been doe-shaped and dark brown; they were deep and lovely, though they conveyed each and every one of her emotions without her concious knowledge. Now, as a vampire, her irises are a dark, crimson. They're cold and emotionless, never allowing others to glimpse inside of her and search out her true feelings and desires.
BODY DESCRIPTION ;; Vidette is tall, with long, toned legs and a thin torso. She's a native of Bulgaria, due to which her skin had been naturally tan in her mortality; now, as a cause of her vampirism, her skin has taken on a paler tone - though her Bulgarian roots can still easily be seen in her facial features.

FULL PERSONALITY ;; Vidette has learned quite a bit about vampires in the past five hundred years, and most of her knowledge has led her to believe that some of the most malevolent vampires had been quite angelic in their mortality. And over time, as immortality took it's toll and centuries passed on, those vampires developed a bitter, spiteful outlook on life. Thus developing their sordid attitudes. Vidette has developed much the same way, though it wasn't her immortality that led her have such an angry outlook on life.
Once upon a time, back in her mortal youth, Vidette had actually been a sweet girl. She was kind, benevolent, and somewhat of a pushover. Always willing to do whatever it took to please others around her without so much as a second thought; it was her duty to maintain a solid, passive image for her fathers' sake, and so she had done. She only spoke when spoken to, knew proper ettiquite and manners, was fluent in several languages (including but not limited to french, spanish, latin, bulgarian, and russian), and her innocence was fairly intact due to an immense amount of sheltering as per her mothers' request. In short, she was a lady. And a lovely one at that.
However, after the birth of her bastard child, and having it snatched out of her arms by her own father, everything changed. Vidette became cold and angry, not caring whether all of Bulgaria knew what had happened to her and how cruel her father could be. She became selfish and self-righteous, bitter and ruthless. And even after her transformation she remained that way, serving herself and only herself. Although, for a few years after being turned, she did run side by side with her sister, Annabelle, of whom she cared for deeply. Anna had been the only one to fully accept her despite the pregnancy, and she's the only person who has ever been able to see the softer side of Vidette. The caring, motherly, doting side of her. She does genuinely care about her sister, even to this day.
Vidette is, in fact, a female to be feared. She's ruthless, not having a care in the world about who's neck she snaps or who's blood she drinks. She doesn't care about who she double crosses, stabs in the back, lies to, cheats on - whatever terrible thing she has or will do to a person, it is guarunteed that she'll never think on it again. She lives in the moment as opposed to dwelling on the past or looking toward the future; all that matters is the here and now. And, just for the record, Vidette's here and now is full of death and destruction.

HISTORY ;; Vidette can't remember much from her mortal life, but luckily for her her family history had been well-documented by her own father. That being said, she had stumbled upon the records years after her transformation and though she can't remember a single thing about her parents or brother at all, she can clearly recite her history to you with ease. She was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria while the country was still under the heavy law of the Turks, the Ottoman Empire still in full-swing. It was an unfortunate time for a child to be born - though it was significantly worse for a boy - but Vidette and her sister, Annabelle, hadn't been affected by the governing as much as one would expect. You see, the Georgieva's were a very influencial family in Bulgaria at the time, and Vidette's father, Nikolai, was oddly respected among the Turks. In fact, he was almost to be considered an ally of sorts. She never questioned him or why he was so respected, merely led her life in royalty and riches. She was, as previously explained, a sweet girl. She had a good heart, and had no reservations against taking and following orders. She was, after all, the daughter of a rather influencial man. Vidette knew her manners and proper etiquette, only spoke when spoken to, and regarded others the way they were to be properly regarded. She never spoke her mind, bottling up all of her emotions and thoughts within herself; after all, it wasn't proper for a lady to be so...open. Her face remained a constant mask of indifference, though she was often disgusted with the way her fathers' so-called friends treated her. They talked down to her, treating her like their inferior. Though, she supposed that at the time she was inferior to them. She was nothing more than the wealthy daughter of a wealthy man who always did as she was told; nothing more and certainly nothing less. To them, she was a pawn. A treasure. Never a human. And though it seemed as if her life was wonderful, all was not well. At the ripe and budding age of eighteen, it came to the Georgieva familys' attention that their eldest daughter, Vidette, had concieved a child out of wedlock. Upon being asked who the father was, Vidette remained mum - how on Earth would she admit to her family that the father of her unborn child was none other than her own fathers' best friend? And how was she to convince them that she hadn't, in fact, seduced him but had merely had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time? No, she would not own up to that. She would prefer to live in shame than admit something like that. And so it was. Her child was ripped from her arms only moments after her birth, and Vidette was to never see her again. Or, so it was intended, and so she had believed.
Living with the knowledge that her daughter was somewhere out there in the world yet so out of reach had absolutely destroyed Vidette. She began to distance herself from her parents and brother, seeking solace in her younger sister, Annabelle. From it, the two formed a bond. Anna was the only one who ever got a glimpse inside Vidette during those last three years of their humanity; she saw the raw pain in Viddy's eyes, felt the desperation rolling off of her shoulders, experienced the endless hours of crying herself to sleep. Anna had held her hand and guided her through those torturous years, and for a while there she had stepped into the role of older sister. No one else could understand just what Vidette was going through the way Anna did, for she did not let anyone see her suffer. The only interaction she had with others - though it was very minimal - was usually unpleasant. Vidette was bitter and it clearly showed; she hardly regarded her father at all, and only acknowledged her mother when absolutely necessary. She would have treated her brother the same way, had he not run off to join forces with the Bulgarian militia in an attempt to rebel against the Turks.
Though it seemed like her life had officially fallen apart, it wasn't even close to being over. Well, her mortal life was over. However, her life as a vampire had only begun. A great fire had taken over the Georgieva manor shortly after Vidette's twentieth birthday, engulfing the large estate in flames. Vidette and Anna had been trapped inside, pleading for someone to save them. This moment had not been well documented in the family's records, for Nikolai was not present to witness the events as they unfolded and he went on to believe that both of his daughters had perished in the fire, and it is still fuzzy in Vidette's mind to date. However, someone had entered the house and saved the girls, changing their lives for the rest of eternity.
He came to them with a vengence, swooping them up into his muscular, colorless arms, and carried them into seclusion. The last thing Vidette remembers from that night, was his hand in her hair and his lips by her ear, whispering apologetic but comforting words. And then they experienced a second fire. A worse fire than the first. It burned hotter and brighter, but this time it tortured them from the inside out, an interior force within themselves that they wasn't lucky enough to escape. It burned for what seemed like centuries, consuming their entire being and bringing the girls that much closer to darkness, to their final heartbeats.
When they regained conciousness days later, the man introduced himself as Basilio. He was from southern Italy, a town the pair had never heard of before. His dialect was different than theirs, and at first, they had communication problems. But they soon adapted, learning to understand one another, and they grew to respect him a great deal. Basilio taught them how to feed - inconspiciously, of course - and how to fight. That was a favorite of theirs. He showed them the best ways to use their icy fists and how to defend themselves, in the event they ever needed to do so. He was their mentor, a father figure, if you will. He took them under his wing, staying by their side through that treacherous first year of being a newborn. They trusted him. After two years of comraderie with Basilio, and traveling all over the likes of Europe, he began to broaden their horizons a bit, telling them tales of other stronger vampire covens across the world. The group that had captured Vidette's interest went by the name Volturi, and they lived in a beautiful walled city called Volterra. They resided in Italy, near the area where Basilio had come from, and he always gushed about how powerful they were, how regal and lovely and spectacular they were. However, Anna was interested in another group; an older group of vampires known simply as the Romanians, a coven that the Volturi had thrown from their thrown centuries before. Their differences were apparent - Vidette wanted power and elegance, whereas Anna wanted a family. Their differences would ultimately be their dividing force.
Vidette was very protective of Annabelle, always looking out for her and shadowing her every movement, terrified that someone would harm her in some way. You see, Anna possessed a gift - which Basilio claimed was rare and intriguing, something that others would envy - and Vidette was always terrified that someone would come and steal her away. She hovered around her, followed her wherever she went. And after a century, Anna desired to leave Basilio and Bulgaria all together. She wanted to travel to Romania and meet the coven that she so desperately wanted to join forces with. So, naturally, Vidette followed suit. She accompanied her on her journey, displeased with the fact that she may never get to live out her own dreams of joining up with the ever-so-majestic Volturi. Though, upon reaching Romania and hunting down the elusive coven that Anna so desperately seeked, she supposed that the group was not so bad after all. At the time, it had consisted of only two men - Stefan and Vladimir. They were nice enough, though they expressed great displeasure with the Volturi and their practices, and while Vidette could understand where they were coming from, she felt oddly protective of the majectic coven residing in Volterra. The Romanians were decent company, and she had to admit - both men were very attractive. Though, she got bored rather fast, and finally decided it was time for the girls to leave. Anna was reluctant, but knew she could never survive alone, without Vidette by her side. So the two traveled some more, hopping from country to country and exploring the European nations much like they had done in the company of Basilio. Except, this time, the sisters weren't seeing eye-to-eye. Vidette had become more bitter and Anna more soft-spoken. Their differences were tearing them apart and pitting them against one another; Anna could no longer stand to put up with Vidette's pessimistic attitude and malicious attacks on innocent passerby - not even for the purpose of feeding, but more or less out of boredom. She did manage to remain inconspicious about it, much like Basilio had taught her, but luring her victims in through seduction and manipulation and killing for the fun of it was something Anna was absolutely repulsed by. So, ultimately, they parted ways. It was a difficult thing for them to do, seeing as they both still cared deeply for one another, but it was for the best.
Vidette had gone to Volterra after all, pledging her allegiance to the Volturi and becoming a member of the guard. There she stood alongside some of the most powerful vampires of all time, and for the first time in a very, very long time, Vidette actually felt like she belonged somewhere. She had lost track of Anna up until very recently when her sister surfaced alongside the likes of the Romanians and Cullens, just where she belonged. It would be difficult for Vidette to fight her sister, but if push came to shove, she would snap Anna's neck with ease. The last thing she needs is an attachment on the opposing force - the force that is, more or less, trying to overthrow the Volturi and take back what is supposedly rightfully theirs - power.

As the mongrel stepped into her view, her scowl only depened, finding herself more disgusted about this creature than she had ever been about the hybrids. And he had the nerve to walk up to her and address her as if they were long time friends! Was he absolutely mad?
However, he was quite handsome in that rebel, bad-boy sort of way. If he were a fellow vampire, she might even find him downright attractive. She would probably spend some time thinking about his chiseled jaw, his perfectly mussed hair, or the way he had this almost mischevious glint in his bedroom-eyes. But, alas, he was a mutt and his repulsive aroma had her too disgusted too even notice an ounce of attractiveness in his features.
And he was cocky, too? Vidette's favorite. Really. That's exactly why she just loved Lezar so much. They totally hit it off from day one, from the moment he stepped into that Volturi meeting she just couldn't contain her joy: Yes! Another arrogant asswipe to add to the collection. Can't wait! Only. . .you know. . .not.
From his failed attempt at humor, though, she could honestly admit that he would be the kind of person she would want to befriend - had she not been a member of the Volturi guard, or a vampire in general, or. . .you know. . .smart. "Oh, yes. Wet dog is truely my favorite smell. I wish everyone could have such a delectable aroma as you, my friend." Friend. Yeah, as if.
"I'm not cruel," her eyes widened, placing a hand over her heart. "I think I'm rather pleasant to be around, actually." At this, Vidette couldn't help but smile. The corners of her lips tugged upwards, showing her brilliant white teeth as she supressed a laugh. Her? Pleasant to be around? Not quite. The last time she could even stand herself was a very long time ago. After joining the Volturi, her warm-but-unbeating heart hardened and turned to stone, keeping her once harmless and demure personality locked away for all eternity.
Just then, a small reflection on his jacket caught her eye - a tiny, almost invisible, golden 'V' emblazoned on the breast of his crisp, new jacket. A jacket that was specifically made for Volturi members, and Volturi members alone. It was a mark hidden well within the stitching, a mark only visible to the ever-seeing eyes of Immortals. "Oh, so the rumors are true. Aro has a pet pooch. How. . ." She breathed a sigh, eyes lighting up softly as she looked back to him. ". . .precious."
Oh, now the monster wanted to comment on her outfit? Yes, she supposed the stripes did look wonderful on her, but his arrogant, fiery attitude had her too angry to reply to his. . .compliment? Could that even be considered a compliment coming from a half-breed? It didn't matter. Vidette wasn't one to say thank you either way. "Don't you think it would seem a bit suspicious if the citizens of Volterra constantly saw overly-attractive people walking about in our proper attire?" She smirked, taking a few careful steps closer to him. Being too close was not good, but she didn't want to draw attention to them by standing so far away, especially with the obvious tension rolling off her shoulders. "Just because it is night time does not mean there aren't people around, dog. Someone is always watching, and someone is bound to catch on. We wouldn't want that now, would we?"
A slight smirk played on her lips as she looked up at him, feeling slightly inferior due to her height. Or lack of height. Yes, she was the true member of the guard, and she felt inferior to a damn puppy who posed as Aro's plaything. What an odd situation, this was.
"Now, tell me," she began, her bloodred eyes twinkling with amusement. "Why does a lost little puppy like you want to work with the vampire mafia?" Ah, the vampire mafia. An adoring term her creator, Basilio, had used to describe the Volturi after he changed her. It wasn't necessarily adoring to him. But Vidette had always been fond of the term, and used it in an admirable way. "We smell as good to you as you do to us, so why stay? Why put up with our stench and allow us the pleasure of enjoying yours?"
Having never personally come in contact with any other shapeshifters - and never having the desire to - Vidette wasn't quite sure how they operated. From what she had heard, the Cullens fraternized with their wolf 'friends' easily, despite the smell. And now Aro had recruited one for himself. Here, within the walls of their sacred Volterra, was a damn shifter. And a smartass one, at that.
Vidette uneasily took another step forward as a couple passed by in an attempt to make it seem like she and the dog were engaging in friendly conversation. The pair gave her an odd look at the gesture, but she pretended not to notice. Once they passed, she took another step back and winked. "See? Appearances are everything around here, pup. It's a lesson you ought to learn," she sighed. Her gaze drifted down to his bright red sneakers, eyebrow quirking in something akin to enjoyment. "Lovely shoes," she teased, looking up at him once again, smirk still playing on her lips.
