Chelsea had all her stuff. She was staying with Mike in the woody part on the cliffs. She started setting up the tent and making a fire. They had the fresh sea air, and a diving show at six. chelsea told him to meet her down, which means on the beach. she would tell him how to drive from there. Her dark eyes were scanning the area.
She didn't want any trouble for next few days. Chelsea looked around and shifted into a wolf. Great, that was her favorite shirt. She rolled her eyes and tried to find any scent she didn’t trust. None to be found, she hopped back to the tent and shifted back putting on her bikini and a pair of shorts. Chelsea smiled, her fire was looking good. She looked at her phone clock and ran her way down the cliff. She stopped at the road and watched Mike arrive.
Chelsea waved and smiled as he came her way. She wished he wasn’t going to back down, he please shouldn’t have a heights problem. She looked at his truck and watched it stop. hey, the spot is up there, just follow the red signs I put up. I’ll see you up there. she winked and smiled as she ran back to where she came from. She climbed up a bit and was back at the camping place. Her dark eyes watched a car coming her way. She waved at Mike and sat down on a rock close to the fire. She ha a cold can of soda in her hands as she watched Mike. This was going to be loads of fun, they would be cliff diving, of course together. And she would show him her wolf, but she would on the last day. Chelsea gave him a warm charming smile and made room for him to sit down. [/blockquote]

Mike hadn't been to the cliffs in about a year, however he was very familiar with the danger from his youth. Mike was looking forward to this camping trip. Chelsea was a real flirty person and it was difficult not to have expectations in the area of romance. Mike was just as interested in making a friend to spend some time with. Mike turned the corner to get on the road that lead to the cliff camping area, and noticed the blue skies which on the Olympic penensula was a good sign. Rain was always a constant threat however one has to learn to live with it.
Very soon, he saw Chelsea wearing a bikini and pair of shorts. He pulled over and stopped. "Hi Chelsea, you are looking good" Mike smiled his approval. She then pointed up the cliff presumably in the direction of the campsite. She told him that she put up some red sign that lead to the campsite. Before she headed up the trail, she gave a little wink, and Mike blushed. Mike started heading up with the supplies and the truck. He picked up her red paper as he passed so they wouldn't blow in the wind.
When Mike got to the campsite, he noticed the fire she had already started and her tent. He had to admit that at least Chelsea knew something about setting a campsite. Then he noticed Chelsea waiting for him on a large rock overlooking the ocean. He waved back to her and walked over with a smile on his face already thinking about the fun they were going to have on this trip. Noticing that Chelsea had made room for him to sit down, Mike took a seat next to Chelsea, and glanced out into the ocean at the pretty view. Then he glanced over to Chelsea. "This looks like a great place to camp, I like the view already." When Mike said this he was looking at Chelsea.

Chelsea watched Mike coming and smiled. The cliffs are not very popular around campers, but she loved heights, it made her feel stronger , maybe because its hard to reach her from down there. The blush on her cheeks of Mike telling her she looked good was already gone, and she hoped he wouldn’t bring it up, she blushes like a fool with compliments. The campsite looked fine, she had her own large tent and a small fire, but big enough to enjoy.
Chelsea took a sip of her soda, it felt good, the ice cold liquid down her throat. She looked at Mike who walked her way with a bright smile, it was fun to see. At high school, Jessica might actually kill her for it. She’d die for one of those smiles again, her own problem though, she let him go, who the hell would let Mike go if he looks so damn cute. He sat down next to Chelsea and she smiled grabbing a can for Mike.
She handed it over and looked back at the view. When Mike spoke she smiled, thinking of the view she saw, not herself. She looked back at him and she noticed his eyes on her, okay, plan B. No just kidding, it was cute. Chelsea just didn’t fall in love like knowing a guy for at least one day. She smiled and kissed his cheek. enjoy the fire she smiled and got up walking into her tent, her hips swaying like they always do when she walks. Chelsea grabbed a vest and walked out of the tent again. Yes she was a flirt, a huge flirt, and a tease, it was fun. She smiled and put on her vest as she sat down next to mike again looking down at the cliffs, the water and the beach not very low from them. You afraid of heights Mike? she asked him with a cheeky smile and looked back, the sun was going down, so the stars would come soon, and the moon. [/blockquote]

"Thank you" as Mike took the soda that Chelsea had offered, he opened the can and took a sip. Then he placed the can out of the way near the rock. Chelsea then smiled and leaned over and pecked him on the cheek, before standing up and going to her tent advising him to enjoy the fire. Mike had a difficult time watching the fire though. Chelsea's hips were so much more appealing. As Chelsea went into the tent Mike decided he had all weekend to decide if he liked Chelsea. And while things looked promising now, moving too fast could change things more easily than taking things slow. For now he would let the sun set, and if Chelsea showed an interest in cuddling, he wouldn't object. For right now, he would take the time to get to know her.
Chelsea came back wearing a vest and again sat down next to Mike. From her question, Mike knew what she had in mind for tomorrow. Mike smiled, "I am not afraid of heights or the water, i won't be the first time that I jumped, I hope the weather holds up, I am looking forward to seeing your dive." Mike had to return the challenge, he was on the home court and wasn't going to let a girl outdo him.
Mike turned and watched the sun going down, while it would have been very easy to sit with Chelsea and see what happens. Mike had to be practical, he had a tent to pitch. He stood up, "I have a little work to do, but I will be back. Not as bold as Chelsea was with her kiss, Mike did allow his hand to run along Chelsea's shoulders before he walked over to his truck and pulled out his tent and started pitching it.

Chelsea was a bit of a seductive girl with a cute smile and who is trying to be nice all the time. Not that it always worked out, the boys she had in mind fell for it. Of course she wasn’t the only one, but the one difference, Chelsea wouldn’t ever hurt them so badly they would hate her. Its not who she is and she lives in a neighborhood where everyone knows each other. She stared at the stars, the shiny but so beautiful stars.
Chelsea looked at Mike and smiled. I am not afraid of heights or the water, i won't be the first time that I jumped, I hope the weather holds up, I am looking forward to seeing your dive. bam! Who shoots the ball can be sure they’ll shoot it back at you. She smiled though and bit her lower lip. that’s so sweet, now I won’t have to go alone ! she said with a very happy voice. Chelsea chuckled and looked back at the sky. I have a little work to do, but I will be back Chelsea looked at him and smiled softly as he ran his hand on her shoulder and left to pitch his tent. She tried to look as sad as possible. You leaving me alone in my own big tent? she asked him sadly and chuckled a bit turning back to the sky for a second, holding her shoulder where he touched her. It was weird, she was growing soft, something that never happened before. She turned back at him wondering what he would think of her offer. She then grabbed a pan, and some ingredients for a perfect cup of tomato soup. She somehow kept her sunglasses on, like she wasn’t being able to show him her eyes. Or she didn’t dare to do it. Unless you are not cuddly, I am when I’m asleep, I don’t snore or talk, I just like to cuddle people in my sleep. she chuckled and let the soup boil a bit. [/blockquote]

Derrick laughed when she accepted his challenge, he knew she would. But he would be there if she did anything stupid. Mike knew you had to be smart about diving off the cliffs. Mike laughed when Chelsea teased him about pitching his tent. But he continued pitching it anyway. At least Chelsea would know that he had the best intentions for the camping trip. Maybe he would just use it as a dressing room for this camping trip, but at least it would give the other privacy when needed. Mike finished pitching the tent and filling his air mattress in good time. He threw his sleeping bag and clothes in, and grabbed his wind breaker for the evening chill.
Mike walked back over to the fire and sat down on the rock next to Chelsea. Mike smiled when he noticed the can of soup on the fire. Looking out to the west, he saw the red orb of the sun slowly falling and casting red over the still bay below. He also noticed the stars beginning to come out from being hidden from the bright sun. It is always amazing what one misses because one is just not looking correctly or one is looking at the wrong thing. Then Mike turned around and saw Chelsea watching dinner still wearing a pair of sunglasses. "Actually Chelsea I do enjoy cuddling, and don't worry, if anything comes around the campground, I will be there to protect you". Mike considered putting an arm around Chelsea but chose to let her make the next move, faintly remembering his oh so brief brush before he went and set his tent. Mike took a sip of water and sat with Chelsea watching the soup and the sunset and the twinkling stars in the darkening sky.

Chelsea felt weird, like she never felt before. It wasn’t the way she act, it wasn’t the weather, it was something different, something that made her act different. She knew that she would refuse to settle down, it wasn’t her nature. She wasn’t the type of girl clinging to a guy for the rest of her life. Getting married or, there was no or after marriage.
Shivers rolled down from her body by the thought of marriage. Poison through her veins, that’s how it feels. Chelsea looked at Mike working on his tent, she did like the guy, maybe in a friend way more then a boyfriend way, but she did like him. Chelsea was playing with her bracelet as she watched him. She kept working on the soup, she already made pieces out of tomatoes and she was stirring it right now.
Her heart pounced as she watched mike sitting down again. She gave him a soft smile and kept stirring the soup, it would be done in about ten minutes. She smiled and watched him as he drew her attention by talking. Actually Chelsea I do enjoy cuddling, and don't worry, if anything comes around the campground, I will be there to protect you she smiled.
Protect her, he was the one who needed more protection, it was still cute to hear. Chelsea smiled friendly and bit her bottom lip stirring the soup. that’s sweet, but I’m not the one who needs a lot of protection. she chuckled and poured some soup in a cup. She gave a cup to Mike and one for herself, it was warm, deliciously warm. She looked at it, it was blood red and with pieces tomatoes and some vegetables you see in every soup. She took a sip and enjoyed the hot liquid going down her throat filling her up with warmth. She smiled and looked at the sky. She grabbed her sunglasses and took them off, the weirdest thing of her eyes, the are as twinkly as stars when she’s happy. [/blockquote]

Mike wasn't even thinking about marriage at this point of his life, to him it wasn't a bad thing, but what you did when you found that perfect person. He had only been with one person up to that point and a failed romance with Bella. That said Chelsea surprised him with her reaction to him wanting to protect her was strange. Most girls would have appreciated an offer of protection in the wilderness, but Chelsea gave a knowing smile and said I am not the one who needs protection. Chelsea then poured him a cup of soup. Mike accepted it with a smile. "Thank you" Mike offered a smile. He took a smell of the tomato soup, and it smelled pretty good, then he took a sip, "This is delicious". When it was cool enough he drank it down, enjoying the warmth of the liquid in his body. "So what brings you to Fork" Mike asked , "I don't remember seeing you around town." he laughed not wanting this to be an interragation. Mike then watched as she took off her sunglasses revealing her beautiful dark eyes. They were twinkling but Mike could tell that they were used to the dark of the forest.
He paused to wonder about this. A girl who looked like she belonged in a mall, but her eyes spoke of experience in the woods. Mike wondered about her skills in the woods. Indians were known for their tracking skills. Was she hiding something from him about how good she really was in the woods. Mike smiled at Chelsea, then glanced up to the stars of the sky. Without a cloud in the sky, it was going to be a beautiful night, some might call it romantic. Mike smiled and took another sip of water.

Chelsea never liked to hide things, secrets, stuff. Fro her it had to be open and she had to be able to show people what she was. The nomadic wolf was more of a stranger in town. She never been to Forks town, only when she was told to go. Life was not the way it should be, for a wolf she should be more free of doing her thing. She took a lot of freedom, but had respect for parental authority. Which was, trying to make the quileutte pack.
Chelsea would never make it, she told them a thousand times. She smiled at Mike’s compliment of the soup. Old secret from her mother. She looked at mike asking her when she moved here. I’m an orphan, me and my sister got separated when we were not even ten years old. I moved to Seattle at first, but the family abused me and so I ran away, and a family at the reservation took me in. she said softly. Chelsea looked at Mike and smiled. I’m never in town much, I am usually here or on the reservation. I try not to get attention. she smiled and looked back at the woods. It had a darkness , and the strengths of the trees , they were all similar to mother earth’s little finger. The power of nature was a force made with human hands. Destroyed by human hands. Its never the same, and you never see difference, for some they are just some trees. To Chelsea they were lives with their own story. its not the fact that you are the same as others, because if we were all the same, we wouldn’t be who we are today. Chelsea whispered and walked to the darkness. Don’t be scared she said to Mike and vanished. She got undressed very quickly and bound her clothes to her leg as she shifted. She walked back to Mike as a wolf. Her paws leaving huge prints in the sand, but you could see the sparkle in her eyes. The brownish wolf looked at Mike’s reaction, please don’t jump. She thought and kept distance. Her clothes playing in the wind, while being bound to her leg. The wolf barked once and walked into the tent shifting back human. She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her body. With a deep breathe Chelsea walked out of her tent. She shrugged. I’m not the same she said with a soft voice and sat down in front of the entrance of her tent. [/blockquote]

Mike bowed his head when Chelsea told him that she was an orphan. Mike had always managed to keep family important in his life. He was happy the Chelsea seemed to be a well rounded person despite her upset family life. Then she told him, she never got into town very often. "That's too bad, I hope you are able to make it into town more often" Mike blushed. Mike then glanced away from the stars inland toward the forest. A person once said it was difficult to see the forest because of the trees because if you looked at the trees, you would never actually see the forest. But those trees hid the animals and if you knew how to use the forest, it could easily hide a person. He focused back on Chelsea when she told him its not the fact that you are the same as others, because if we were all the same, we wouldn’t be who we are today. He watched as she disappeared into the wood asking him not to be scared.
Mike wasn't certain what was going to happen when the trees rustled where Chelsea had entered the forest and a wolf stepped into the campsite area. Mike stood up slowly, but quickly noticed that Chelsea's clothes were tied loosely on her leg. Mike had been around dogs all his life, but this was very different. He didn't look the wolf in the eye and respectfully bowed his head, and gave her the respect that the wolf expected. Then his eyes took in the features of the wolf, its brown fur, the dark eyes, anything he could use to identify it. Then the wolf barked and entered Chelsea's tent.
Mike took a deep breath not really certain what he had seen. He glanced up in the sky and checked whether there was a full moon. He had no even mythical explanation for what he saw but Chelsea was expecting understanding and questions. Mike stood thoughtfully and watched the tent, not certain what to expect. When Chelsea exited wearing a towel, Mike smiled at her and walked over and sat down across from chelsea and she told him I'm not the same. "I realize that now", Mike smiled, "I still want to get to know you." Mike paused a second taking a deep breath. "Can you tell me the story of how you became a wolfperson" already deciding that the facts were wrong for a werewolf.

This might be stupid, but she did saw the fun in it. Who could tell that they had a friend who was also a wolf. Exactly, not many could. Mike shouldn’t tell anyone, it was just not right to tell him either. She just didn’t know why she wouldn’t tell him. You would’ve told your friends you were lesbian so they wouldn’t be surprised when you kiss a girl right?
To Chelsea it was like being lesbian. Her dark eyes skipped to Mike who was somehow, not even scared, what was wrong with him? She expected him to run off the cliff. A small shrug from her side when he sat in front of her. She tried to see what he was doing, she just couldn’t figure it out. A soft smile and a bite on her lip as she watched mike.
He still wanted to get to know her. Did he think he was going to reject her? She raised an eyebrow for a second and looked at him, with a lot of disbelieve. you do.. she said with disbelieve in her voice. Then he asked how she got to turn in a wolf. She chuckled , a wolfperson, cute. She looked at him and smiled. I don’t know according to the books it a thing in your dna, and well when you are ready to change, I mean your body, at that age you’ll start to get high fevers, and you’ll start to get very warm, your body temperature rises, like the heat of the sun, and then slowly it goes away, the pain the heat and before you know it you rip out of your clothes into a giant wolf. she said softly with a shrug. It wasn’t such of a big deal anymore. there are some things attached to it. I’ll never grow older. When you’re eighty, I’m still seventeen. she said a bit sad. It wasn’t fun to stop aging, you’ll never be happy with a family, on the other side, you’ll be able to party the rest of your life. [/blockquote]

Mike listened to Chelsea as she told him that becoming a wolf was having the right Dna. Well that meant that her tribe experience something that caused a change in their DNA. The process of the change sounded painful, but not worse than trying to overcome a virus. Although Mike imagined that Chelsea was oversimplifying everything to make a long story short. Mike stopped the thought and went back to the real question why. Not every human or Indian becomes a wolf?
Mike smiled at Chelsea not really noticing that she had a towel on. "So do you know what triggered the mutation of the DNA" Mike asked. he hoped that she understood that he wasn't calling her a mutant. Next she mentioned something about her not aging, that she could live for sixty years as a teenager. She did seem sad about it. Mike agreed, while man had been looking for a fountain of youth for a long time, there was something to be said about aging gracefully. And while partying all night might be fun for a while, Mike would think it would get old fast though.
Mike almost missed it however when she mentioned that you would never have a family. "You can't have children" Mike softly said. He wondered some people might have considered that a benefit. Mike wondered, he knew he would never try to take advantage of that fact, but that was just him. Mike scooted closer and sat next to Chelsea, and took a sip of his water. He glanced up at the stars. In the direction of Forks a wolf howled. Mike didn't think much about it. It was a lovely night and he didn't have anything to do but relax and spend time with Chelsea. MIke gave a another smile.
